History

ContourMed HeadquartersContourMed, Inc., a Delaware corporation headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas, was founded in 1998 with the support of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) for the purpose of manufacturing and marketing prosthetic devices for women with breast cancer. ContourMed is the sole and exclusive beneficiary of the patented technology developed by its’ founder, L. Daniel Eaton, while at the Arkansas Cancer Research Center, and was the first company to emerge from Arkansas BioVentures, the technology development incubator at UAMS.

ContourMed, Inc. is a medical technology driven manufacturer that produces breast products that are significantly more advanced – both technologically and aesthetically – than other products on the market.

ContourMed’s products were initially distributed through bra and mastectomy product retail boutiques by our sales professionals. Recent enhancements of our software and the development of hand-held scanning technology have resulted in making ContourMed’s products more accessible than ever before. Availability of on-site scanners has led to increasing interest and commitment within the medical community. As a result, we are rapidly expanding as our products become available in hospitals, breast centers, doctor offices and orthotic and prosthetic locations around the country. Additionally, the ability for businesses, institutions and individuals to have ContourMed laser scanning equipment onsite for immediate use is leading to greater availability of our products worldwide.
